Hi there…Welcome to Delight Essentials!

As a physical therapist, health and wellness has always been a priority to me. When I became a mother, I started noticing ingredient labels and became aware of what products my boys were using. I wanted to find an alternative to the preservatives and artificial fragrances that were in the soaps and lotions we were buying. Our skin is the largest organ in our body, and I wanted mild, detergent-free soaps and moisturizing natural body butters. I quickly realized there were very few options that I felt comfortable using for our family’s skincare needs.

I have always been creative, and I inherited a passion for crafts from my mother, a teacher, and artist, and an entrepreneur. Having retired as an arts and craft teacher, she continues to create art and beauty. With her encouragement, I researched and stirred and measured and I soon discovered how much I loved making products for my family. As we began using the soaps and lotions that I had made, we noticed a difference in how our skin felt, and we began sharing our soaps with friends and relatives. The encouragement and the requests for more led me to create Delight – a handcrafted soap, formulated with high-quality ingredients, in small batches, carefully for you and for anyone who wants a natural and gentle alternative to skincare.
